Job Title: Agency Manager/Lead Agent

Job Summary: As the Agency Manager/Lead Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an insurance agency with multiple locations, leading and mentoring staff, developing business strategies, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in achieving growth objectives and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Train and mentor agency staff to achieve high performance.
- Set individual and team goals and monitor progress.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the agency’s client base and revenue.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage daily agency operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Oversee claims processing and resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, track financial performance, and achieve profitability goals.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
- Present results to the Board of Directors
- Customer Service:
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service at all levels of the agency.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (preferred).
- Five years+ of experience in the insurance industry, with two years in a management role (preferred).
- General understanding of Iowa farming operations (grain & livestock)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans.
